Will Partitura be available on other platforms?
Yes! At least if everything goes according to plan. Partitura is build with Flutter specifically to be able to provide a truly cross-platform experience. Partitura however is a passion project by a single developer which is why Partitura has chosen to release not for all platforms simultaniously. Android seemed to be the logical first release because the main developer uses an android tablet himself. Partitura plans to support Windows, Linux, MacOS and iOS as well in the future.
Are there any other features planned for future releases?
Yes, there are many. However getting the app as far as it is has already been quite the task for a solo developer. Don’t expect many other features in 2025 cause 2025 will probably be filled with bug fixes. However starting somewhere in 2026 Partitura would like to add features such as Multiple Annotations files for one pdf, Endless Scrolling Sheet music view, Double Page sheet music view, A companion app for using two tablets and much more. Feature requests are more than welcome.
What will be the development schedule of Partitura?
As of release, Partitura will try to deliver updates monthly.
Why should I try Partitura over some other Sheet Music App?
Partitura is the only app currently on the market that actually wants to provide you a clean, good looking and easy to use user experience. Next to that Partitura commits to making sure that all of your files remain easily accessible even without the use of the software. Partitura is incredibly lightweight and will run on any 64-bit architecture. Partitura does not feature nefarious license implementations and focusses on offline use while being less than half the price of other sheet music apps. Give Partitura a shot, you will not regret it.
